		<description>Dear Jay,

I agree with your very wise comment. If we are to create a change in ourselves, we must be completely ready to do so. We cannot “judge” ourselves as you say or deny our issue(s). Once we are open to change, it can begin.

I look forward to viewing this video link that you have shared.
Thank you for your comment. Please keep reading and posting.

		<description>Hi Dr,
Interesting post. My experience is that in order for change to occur, we have to create the space for it to happen. If I can step back and observe myself without judging, then I become open to new possibilities.

Here's a video I find inspirational. Hope you do as well.

		<description>Dear Benny,

I cannot say how happy I am to hear that changing your attitude has changed your life. You are one of the lucky ones I would say. Chemical imbalances that misfire neurotransmitters in the brain causing clinical disorders often times cannot be changed by attitude ALONE. Attitude plays a major part in the treatment (through psychotherapy), but there are certainly more severe cases of chemical imbalances out there that need more than just an attitude adjustment.

Thanks for your comment. Please keep reading and posting.

<description>Doc - You know I love you, but I am living proof that chemical imbalances in your body can be taken care of with a change in attitude - Ya-ttitude™ if you may. Of course that change in attitude has made me eat better - exercise more and remain calm, cool and collect in all situations. I have honed my focus and concentration and it has allowed me to "cure" what ailed me. I know and understand that there are situations... But - even those would do well with some positive Ya-ttitude™!

I still love you and yur thought process you know... :)

		<description>Dear Jrayrice,

What a fantastic attitude you have!

I couldn’t agree with you more. Every experience, good or bad, can be a learning one as long as we allow it to be. I’m not saying that bad experiences may not bring us down, sometimes, way down, but eventually if we pull ourselves out of the bad place we are in and truly change our thought pattern or reframe the situation, we may learn and come out a better person for it.

Life is about change. Things and people are changing all around us every day! We, ourselves are constantly in a state of flux and change as well. You are correct though. It is the way we learn to handle the changes that will help us to grow as people and be happier and healthier for it.

Thank you so much for your comment. I hope you will continue to read and post your thoughts.

		<description>Dear J.D.,

It’s a true honor that you thought of Tony Robbins when reading my article!

It is also interesting that you brought up food as a way of controlling ones emotions/thoughts/actions. Food plays a HUGE role our body chemistry, including insulin and I will shortly be starting to post articles about this very subject. I hope you can be patient for them to come out as I promise I will be addressing this very issue!

I have to say that my opinion as a professional is that the three most key components to a healthy lifestyle are eating right, getting enough sleep, and our attitude or the way we think. ALL three of these things have been clinically proven to affect our brain chemical imbalances. Remember, I said, “have an affect on”. None of these will entirely “cure” a chemical imbalance, but they can have an affect! I would never rule out what we eat. They did not come out with the crazy cliché “You are what you eat” for nothing. Smiles.

I hope you are subscribed to my RSS feed so that you can get my articles and surely not miss my topic s about eating and the way we feel when I begin that segment of my posts.

Thank you so much for your comment and please keep reading and posting.
