When times were so bad for me I would just try to make it 5 minutes at a time. I knew I could hang in there for 5 minutes and then 5 minutes after that. I knew that, in time, things would change. I would try to play the movie of my life forward a few years to help me realize I could get to a better place if I made choices now that would get me there.
